Judy Fern Grogan, 81

Judy Fern Grogan of Fort Meade passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 at her residence.

She was born January 8, 1941 in Lejunior, Kentucky to the late James and Flora Grogan; she moved to Fort Meade from South Dakota eight years ago. Judy was a CNA and a member of Namesake Apostolic Church. She loved thrift stores, traveling, cooking, and watching Hallmark movies.

Judy is survived by her children, Sammy Rice of Mount Vernon, Indiana, Lorie McKnight of Fort Meade, Tammy Lamb of Fort Meade, Joseph Rice of Shawnee Town, Illinois, and Teea Atkins and husband Richard of Brook Park, Ohio; sister, Lovel Selene Posey of River Ridge, Kentucky; seven grandchildren; fourteen greatgrandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Namesake Apostolic Church in Lake Wales with Pastor Stephen Reed officiating. A celebration of life will also be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 25, 2022 at Evarts Funeral Home in Evarts, Kentucky.
