Judy Kate Curlee, 75

Judy Kate Curlee passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022, in Winter Haven.

She was born in Kissimmee Florida on April 15, 1947, to the late Howard and Minnie Thornton. Judy was active in her Church and Dundee Senior Group; she enjoyed her job as an accountant for 53 years and the people she worked with at Waverly Growers. She liked to vacation in Tennessee and loved attending family reunions.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband Ray T. Curlee Sr. In 2016.

She is survived by her sons, Richard Connell Sr. (Barbara) of Leesville, SC, Anthony “Wayne” Connell of Lake Wales, and Ray T. Curlee Jr. (Heather) of Winter Haven; her sister Shirley Fort (John) of Winter Haven; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at 10:00 AM with services to follow at 11:00 AM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
