Juanita Ruth Wimberley

Juanita Ruth Wimberley of Lake Wales passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 at her residence.

She was born November 8, 1935 in Lake Wales to the late Louie Paul & Lida Lee Griffin; and she was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a homemaker and member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis E. Wimberley; brother, James Erwood; sister, Barbara Venice Booth; and two grandchildren, Malachi Kelly Haley and Shad Lamar Carnal. Survivors include her daughters, Martha Grant of Westminster, SC, Margaret Denise Varnadore of Lake Wales, Juanita Lynn Clem of Lake Wales, Joan E. Carnal of Lake Wales and Debra M. Booth of Lake Wales; son, Bruce Elliott Wimberley of Lake Wales; brother, Louis Paul Griffin, Jr. of Lake Wales; sister, Phyllis Ann Ward of Lake Wales; 21 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
