Juanita Gonzalez of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the Winter Haven Hospital.

She was born May 9, 1935 in Puerto Rico to the late Juan Luciano and Victoria Ortiz; and she came here from Puerto Rico 11 years ago. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed playing Bingo and sewing.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, William Gonzalez; daughter, Daisy Lopez of Kissimmee; sons, Victor Gonzalez (Miriam) of Puerto Rico, David Gonzalez (Stacy) of Lake Wales and Jose Colon (Kriste) of East Meadow, NY; sisters, Carmen LaRocco of Fort Lauderdale, Virgin Lopez of Staten Island, NY, Isabella Luciano of Puerto Rico and Carmen Arce of Puerto Rico; brothers, Jamie Concepcion of Fort Lauderdale, Victor Luciano of Miami and Isreal Luciano of Beliz; 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
