Juan Barretta Hernandez

Juan B. Hernandez of Lake Wales passed away Monday, April 30, 2012 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born August 5, 1947 in Port Lavaca, TX to the late Trinidad Leloe Hernandez and Leonor Barretta; he came here from Houston, TX 17 years ago. He was the owner/operator of Double G Trucking and was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed making leather goods, antique cars and was a baseball fan.

Survivors include his daughter, Eva Hernandez Silva of Houston, TX; sons, Fabian Hernandez (Heather) of Miami, Paul Hernandez of Bowling Green, OH and J.T. Hernandez of Houston, TX; sisters, Elida and Maria; brothers, Raul Hernandez of Houston, TX, Trinidad Hernandez of Houston, TX, Thomas Hernandez of New Orleans, LA and Joe Hernandez of Houston, TX; and six grandchildren, Giovanni, Tino, Blake, Andrea, Joseph and Jacob.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 pm Sunday, May 6, 2012 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
