Juan was born December 31, 1957 in Brownsville, Texas he has been a resident of Frostproof for 40 years and worked as a crew leader/contractor in the citrus industry for Crumby Bros and BHG Inc.
He is preceded in death by his father Juan Jose Castillo.
Survivors include his mother Maria Cruz Castillo of Frostproof, FL, Son Juan Carlos Castillo of Frostproof, FL, brothers Amado Castillo (Delia) of Bowling Green, OH, Silvestre Castillo of Frostproof, FL, Juan Castillo of Frostproof, FL, Ricardo Castillo (Oralia) of Winter Haven, FL, Gilberto Castillo (Ashley) of Frostproof, FL, Javier Castillo(Maggie), FL, sisters; Rosalinda Moreno (Guadencio) of Frostproof, FL, Raquel Henson (Autrey Gene) of Frostproof, FL, Diana Garcia (Victor) 0f Frostproof, FL, Aurora Martinez (Alfred) of Frostproof, FL. 24 nieces and nephews, 19 grand-nieces and nephews. He was a loving son and devoted father, very social and outgoing person. Loved to play dominos and cards with his nieces and nephews. Loved football, soccer, dancing and making sure his family was always taken care of. Favorite music was Freddy Fender, Elvis Presley, Cornelio Reyna and Vicente Fernandez.
Funeral Service will be held at 12:00PM Monday, November 10, 2014 at Family Life Church in Frostproof with Father Jose Gonzalez and Rev. Kelly Galati officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 4:00-6:00PM at Marion Nelson Funeral Home Frostproof. Interment will be at Silver Hill Cemetery.
