Joyce C. Tabb

Joyce C. Tabb of Frostproof passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Somers Hospice House in Sebring.

She was born August 26, 1939 in Fort Lauderdale; she came to the area as a child. She retired from G.T.E. after 25 years as a service representative and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Frostproof, where she was a Sunday school teacher for 35 years. She was also a member of the D.A.R. in Lake Wales, enjoyed crocheting, was a Gator fan and enjoyed playing the piano and organ.

Joyce was preceded in death by her father, R.J. Culpepper Sr. Survivors include her husband, Hulon R. Tabb; son, Richard M. Tabb (Teresa Smith) of Frostproof; mother, Lenora Culpepper of Lakeland; and brothers, R.J. Culpepper Jr (Gla) of Jacksonville and David Culpepper (Jackie) of Aiken, SC.

Graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Friday, November 18, 2011 at the Lake Wales Cemetery with Rev. Darrol Hood officiating.
