Joyce Lucille Hickman, 79
Joyce L. Hickman of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.
She was born September 28, 1939 in Griffin, Georgia to the late Charlie and Lucille (Nixon) McLean. She was a Service Associate for K-Mart for 20 years and was a member of the Westside Baptist Church. Joyce loved her grandchildren and playing bingo.
She is preceded in death by her husband Douglas Hickman, son Timothy A. Hickman, sister Ann McLean, brothers Mickey, Charles, and Jerry McLean.
She is survived by her daughters Candy Miles of Kansas City, MO, Carol Bullard (Don) of Douglasville, GA, Karen Williams (John) of Valrico, GA, Ellen James of GA, sons Shane Hickman (Kelly) of Lake Wales, FL, Shannon Hickman (Jennie) of Lake Wales, FL, sister Vivian Pinson (John) of Thomasville, GA, brothers James McLean (Mary) of Griffin, GA, Dan McLean (Jan) of Griffin, GA, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of life will be held 6:00 PM Friday, August 30, 2019 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Pastor Denny Cothern Officiating.
