Joyce Hamman-Brandenberg, 90

Joyce Hamman-Brandenberg of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024 at her residence.

She was born March 21, 1934 in Clayburg, New York to the late Charles and Fannie Buckley. She attended Sallaz Academy/Sisters of St. Louis and Barry College. Joyce moved to Florida in 1960 where she worked at AT&T for 30 years as a telecommunications maintenance consultant. She attended Dale Carnegie, winning several awards.  Joyce took pleasure in her community, church, and visiting the Adirondack Mountains.

Joyce was fortunate to have two loves in her life. Joyce married her first husband, T. Ralph Hamman, in 1973. They held a loving marriage until his passing in 1995. Joyce met the second love of her life, William Brandenburg, in 2006. They sealed their relationship in marriage in 2015 before his passing in 2018. Joyce is predeceased by a brother, Raymond Hanlon; sisters, Janeth LaVair and Rita Heyscue; and niece, Rita Agne. She is survived by nephew, Charles LaVair, and nieces, Shawn Balio and Beth Welch.

A memorial mass is scheduled at Holy Spirit Catholic Church for Friday May 31 at 10:00a.m.
