Joyce Elaine Davenport

Joyce Elaine McCall Davenport was called home to be with the lord surrounded by her family on 3/29/2022 at the age of 72.

She was born on April 18 ^th 1949 in Frostproof to the late Ralph and Idell McCall being the baby of 7 children. She spent her entire adult life living selflessly taking care of her husband and raising her two children, later becoming a grandmother and great grandmother. Joyce Elaine was a member of the First Baptist Church of Frostproof.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Davenport. Her sisters: Gladys and Virginia McCall. And brothers: Hampton and Roland McCall.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Davenport of Frostproof. Son, Joseph Davenport of Frostproof. Grandson, Dwayne Shockley of Frostproof. Granddaughter, Amanda Shockley of Frostproof. Three beautiful great grandchildren – Logan, Jordyn, and Braison. Sister, Lora Mae MacPherson of Valrico, FL. And Brother, Kenneth McCall (Kay) of Texas.

A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Frostproof on April 7 ^th 2022 at 3pm with Rev. Darrol Hood officiating.
