Joyce Denise Cavanaugh

Joyce Denise Clark Cavanaugh, 69, of Lake Wales passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Lake Wales Medical Center due to Lymphoma.

She was born August 15, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Henry H. and Jeanne (Brennock) Clark and has been a resident of the area since 1967. She was a retired Nurse. Joyce loved to cook, enjoyed singing the Choir, crocheting blankets for her grandchildren and was a member of the Impact Church.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Jody M. Cavanaugh in 2014, Mother, Jeanne Clark in 2013 and her sister, Jenita Antley in 2011.

Survivors include her daughters, Jaya R. Smith and Joe of Babson Park, Florida, Jaxy L. Windish and Steve of Colorado Springs, Colorado,Jeanne D. Cavanaugh of Lake Wales; son, Jordan R. Cavanaugh and Stacey of Lake Wales; sister, Jenise Scarborough and Thomas of Lake Wales, Jeana Haynesworth and Jimmy of Lake Wales; 17 grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Impact Church with Pastor Alonzo Gay, Sr. and AJ Steverson officiating. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Monday, September 8, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
