LAKE WALES -- Mrs. Josephine Gertrude Gurvitch of Lake Wales died of heart failure Monday (Aug. 7, 2006) at Palm Gardens of Winter Haven. She was 93.

Born Aug. 6, 1913, in Boston, Mass., Mrs. Gurvitch moved to Lake Wales from Westwood, Mass., in 1974. She was a homemaker. She was an Episcopalian.

Mrs. Gurvitch was preceded in death by her husband, Hyman Gurvitch. She is survived by her grandchildren, Bruce LaBlanc, Tom LaBlanc and Paul LaBlanc.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd.
