Josephine Mccart Cox

Josephine McCart Cox of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born May 15, 1934 in Lake Wales, Florida to the late Victor and Lois (Fowler) Hutchinson and she has been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a retired Cashier for Family Dollar Store. Josephine was a former member of the Moose Lodge and VFW, she enjoyed word puzzles.

Josephine was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry “Buck” McCart.

Survivors include her daughters, Wanda Edwards of Lake Wales, Pat Hawkinson and husband Terry of Reno, NV. Janet Ferguson of Athens, GA, Rae Cummings of Las Vegas, NV; brothers, John Wayne Hutchinson and wife Cheryl of Louisville, KY, James Hutchinson and wife Paulette of San Antonio, TX; 8 grandchildren , 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, former husband, Fred A Cox

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday, January 9, 2014 and the funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. David Durham officiating. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
