FROSTPROOF--Joseph Seth Meadows, 94, of Frostproof died Sunday, July 01, 2007 at the Palm Terrace Hospice House in Lakeland.

Born August 14, 1912 in Hopewell, Virginia; he came here from Mathews, Virginia 6 years ago. He was a retired accountant for Celenase Fibers in Cumberland, Maryland. He was of the Baptist faith; and enjoyed golfing, fishing and gardening.

Mr. Meadows was preceded in death by wife, Rosa Meadows; and his son, Joseph E. Meadows. Survivors include his sons, Phillip Meadows of Fort Ashby, West Virginia; Wilton Meadows of Mathews, Virginia; brother, Roger Meadows of Hopewell, Virginia; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and companion, Sabra Pierce of Frostproof, Florida.

Burial will take place at the Fort Ashby Cemetery under the direction of UpChurch Funeral Home in Ft. Ashby, West Virginia.
