FROSTPROOF--Joseph Russell Ferrari, 78, of Frostproof died Tuesday, March 06, 2007 at Florida Hospital in Orlando.

Born February 06, 1929 in Detroit, MI; he came here from Port Huron, Michigan 11 years ago. He was self-employed and a member of the Church on the Ridge in Frostproof. He was also a member of the Eagle Lodge in St. Clair Shores, MI.

Mr. Ferrari was preceded in death by his son, Mark. Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Ferrari of Frostproof; daughters, Lana Raptoplous of Shelby Township, MI; Linda Ferrari of Royal Oak, MI; Kim Ferrari of Troy, MI; Michelle Young of Sebring; sons, Wayne Ferrari of Troy, MI; Joseph Ferrari of Traverse City, MI; Michael Ferrari of Platteville, WI; brother, Frank Ferrari of Macomb, MI; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 09, 2007 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof.
