Joseph Anthony Adamo

Joseph Anthony Adamo of Calverton, NY passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 at his winter residence in Lakeshore, FL.

He was born July 21, 1929 in Williamsburg, NY to the late Salvatore & Frances Adamo; and he has been coming from New York to Florida as a winter resident for 6 years. He was retired from Grumman Aerospace, of the Baptist faith and was a veteran of Korea, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the V.F.W.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Linda A. Adamo; sons, Salvatore Adamo and Robert Adamo both of Elmont Long Island, NY; step-son, Jerry Camerlengo (Heather) of Sun City, AZ; a brother, Anthony Adamo (Nina) of Kings Park, Long Island, New York; sister-in-law, Diane Pomerance (Eric) of Great Neck, Long Island, New York; and mother-in-law, Anne Graszik of Cairo, New York.

Memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
