Johnny William Harness

Mr. Johnny "John" William Harness, age 77 of Thomaston, died Tuesday August 25, 2015 at the Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Harness was born on November 13, 1937 in Sebring, Florida to the late John and Onie Mae North Harness. He Owned and Operated Thomaston Ford Company with his wife Jane Harness. Mr. Harness was a member of the local 397 Iron Workers and also a member of the Moose Lodge and Elk Lodge. He served his country in the U.S. Air-Force.

Survivors include his wife Mrs. Jane Smith Harness of Thomaston Ga, daughter Mrs. Nicole "Nikki" (Marty) Berman of Orlando, FL; sons Mr. David Edwards of Frostproof, Fl, Mr. Keith (Karen) Edwards of Lake Wales, Fl; brothers Mr. John Bullard of Thomaston Ga, Mr. Cowboy Dale Henderson of Avon Park Fl. 7 Grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held on Friday August 28, 2015 in Lake Wales Fl.

The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Wednesday August 26, 2015 from 5-7 p.m., and will also receive friends at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales, FL, on Friday August 28, 2015 from 1-3 PM.
