Johnny Castillo

Johnny Castillo of Lake Wales passed away at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

He was born November 10, 1962 in Knox City, TX; and he came here as a child from Knox City. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, a fork lift driver for Peace River Citrus and a sales rep at Advanced Auto Sales. He was a fan of Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed shooting pool and dancing.

Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Alejandro Castillo and a brother, Robert Castillo. Survivors include his wife, Rosalinda Castillo; daughters, Lyla Castillo of Lake Wales and Veronica Castillo of Bartow; sons, John “JJ” Castillo Jr of Lake Wales and Jessie Castillo of Lake Wales; mother, Ofeila Castillo of Lake Wales; sisters, Dianna Castillo of Lake Wales, Beatrice Castillo of Lake Wales and Rachel Castillo of Winter Haven; brothers, Tony Castillo of Lake Wales, Hector Castillo of Haines City and Chris Castillo of Burnet, TX; and two grandchildren.

Service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Fr. Pedro Zapata officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home.
