FROSTPROOF -- Mr. Johnnie Lee Harnage of Frostproof died of heart failure Saturday (Dec. 17, 2005) at home. He was 63.

Born in Avon Park on Feb. 28, 1942, he was a longtime resident of Frostproof. He retired from the Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was of the Church of God faith.

Mr. Harnage is survived by his wife, Maggie Harnage; daughter, Melinda G. Lane, Brantley, Ga.; sons, Johnny L. Harnage Jr., Frostproof, Christopher M. Harnage, Babson Park; brother, Floyd Harnage, Sarasota; sister, Jeanette Talbot, Wauchula; 12 grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Frostproof. Burial will be in Silver Hill Cemetery in Frostproof.
