John N. Wiseman

John N. Wiseman of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, January 17, 2010 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born March 28, 1920 in Lake Wales to the late John N. Wiseman and Veda Irene Parker Wiseman; he was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a retired self-employed plumber, a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a member and past commander of the Lake Wales V.F.W.

John was preceded in death by his first wife, Erma Lane Wiseman in 1980. Survivors include his wife, Rita E. Wiseman; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Friday, January 22, 2010 with a rosary service at 7:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lake Wales with Father Anthony Bluett officiating.
