John M. Williams of Greensboro, GA passed away Monday, February 13, 2012 in Frostproof.
He was born November 5, 1946 in Pulaski, VA to M.M. and Della (McRoberts) Williams; and has been coming to Frostproof as a winter resident for six years. John was the owner/operator of a custom packaging of aerospace adhesive company, a member of the Lakeside Church of Lake Oconee, and the Elks Club.
Survivors include his wife, Ginny Williams of Greensboro, GA; daughters, Dawna Williams Rotert (Bob) of Mentor, OH, Dori Williams Coughlin (Jeff) of East Lake, OH, and Lisa A. Poppell of Tucker, GA; sons, John M. Williams, Jr. of Euclid, OH, Chuck Williams (Chris) of Willowick, OH, David Williams (Jeanine) of East Lake, OH, and Doug Poppell (Paige) of Kingwood, TX; brothers, O.C. Stephens and Mell Williams, both of Sebring; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date in Ohio. Contributions may be made in his memory to the American Diabetes Association (4902 Eisenhower Blvd., Suite 295, Tampa, FL 33634).
