John Clark Webb

John Clark Webb, 66, passed away on August 3, 2018 at his home in Babson Park, Florida. Clark was born in Tampa, Florida on March 13, 1952, and grew up in Lake Wales. He graduated from Auburn University with a business degree, and spent his professional career in sales, marketing, and consulting, most recently in turfgrass products.

Clark was the son of the late John Lamar and Doris Jean (Clark). He was the loving husband of Marcia Ann (Ringler) for over 39 years, the father of Josh (Andrea) (Tampa, Florida), Chase (Greenville, South Carolina), and Cohl (Southampton, New York), and the grandfather of Josef Clark and Matthias John.

A lifelong sports and outdoors enthusiast, Clark especially shared his love for the game of golf and Crooked Lake with his family. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Wales and the Defenders of Crooked Lake.

A Celebration of Life for Clark will be held at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Wales with a reception immediately afterwards at the Babson Park Woman’s Club. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in remembrance of Clark to the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Wales and the Defenders of Crooked Lake.
