John Roger Williams, 64

John Roger Williams of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Lakeland Regional.

He was born June 4, 1958 in Winter Haven to the late William and Shirley Williams. John was a retired customer service representative for Huston-Fields Cadillac in Lake Wales and of the Baptist faith. He used to race cars and loved watching Nascar and wrestling. He enjoyed spending his time going to sports games where his children were playing.

John was preceded in death by his sons, Jared Lance Williams, and Dustin Grant Williams. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carol Williams; daughter, Ashley Shea Khairy and husband Peter of Winter Haven; sons, Heath Christopher Williams and girlfriend Jessica of Gainesville, and Hunter John Williams of Lake Wales; sisters, Debbie Douglas of Waverly, Teresa Tucker of Lake Wales, Cindy Slocumb and husband Scott of Alabama, and Mary Bazemore and husband Vince of Winter Haven; brothers, Donnie Williams of Waverly, and Timmy Williams and wife Laura of Polk City; and grandchildren, Brighton Peter Khairy, and Remington Peter Khairy.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 17, 2022 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Interment will follow at Lake Wales Memorial Gardens.
