John Samuel Mauger Sr., 98

John S. Mauger, Sr. of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Winter Haven Hospital.

He was born March 17, 1919 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania to the late George M. and Mabel (Hoffman) Mauger. He has been a resident of the area since 1991 coming from Pennsylvania. He was a Film Developer and member of the Frostproof Gospel Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife Helen Mauger and sister Christine Beldyr.

Survivors include his son John S. Mauger Jr. of CA, brother George M. Mauger of PA.

Visitation will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, April 6, 2017 until service time at 4:00PM at the Frostproof Gospel Church with Keith Keyser officiating. Interment will be held 12:30PM Friday, April 7, 2017 at Sarasota National Cemetery.
