John Michel Kniffen

John Michel Kniffen, 60, passed away suddenly on Monday March 28, 2016. He is the son of Raymonde (Viger) Kniffen, Lake Wales FL.

John was born in Pontiac, MI February 17, 1956. It was a glorious day. He lived in Pontiac until his graduation from Pontiac Northern HS and then continued his education in underwater technology at FIT, FL. He also worked for APAC and Lane Construction.

Nature Was John's first love, not to exclude the sea. The " Misery Riders" bike club was also a favorite pastime. One of his important phrases was, " If you like what you are doing, you will never work a day in your life."

His memory will be cherished by his daughters, Josette Kniffen and Jenna Kniffen, also his son John "Jake" Kniffen, his beautiful grand daughter, Emily and his long time friend, Charlie Adams. He will be dearly missed by his nieces, Amy and Katie Aldrich and by his sisters, Sylvia (Jim) Aldrich and Nicole (Bruce) Neely.
He is preceded in death by his father, John J. Kniffen.

Memorial Services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Bok Tower Gardens with Rev. Walter Nelson officiating.

Family will receive friends on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Marion Nelson Funeral Home.
