John “Jack” Cretella, 84

John “Jack” Cretella of Nalcrest passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Winter Haven Life Care.

He was born June 5, 1939 in New Haven, Connecticut to the late Joseph and Henrietta Cretella; he moved to Nalcrest from Connecticut 21 years ago. Jack was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service and a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He loved red roses and would always give them to his wife.

Jack was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis; and brother, Donald Cretella. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Janet Cretella; daughter, Dawn Mulligan and husband Brian of Cheshire, Connecticut; son, John Cretella and wife Ariana of Branford, Connecticut; sister, Joan Savino of Madison, Connecticut; grandchildren, Sean Mulligan, Kayleigh Mulligan, and Connor Mulligan; and sister-in-law, Ruth Cretella.
