John Getzman

John Getzman, resident of Lake Wales passed away on June 9, 2009.

Former long term resident of North Miami, he was a retired Police Lieutenant with Dade City Sheriffs Department. He was an avid sailor and lifetime member of Miami Yacht Club.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Juliet. He leaves behind a daughter, Diane Newcomb; grandson Dennis C. Dowling, who resides with his family in New Zealand, wife Suzannah, and great-grandsons Oliver and Britton; a sister, Shirley Prisco.
