John Louis Fulwood, 68

John Louis Fulwood of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at his residence.

He was born June 15, 1954 in Tampa to the late Horace and Betty Jo Fulwood. He and his wife recently moved back to Lake Wales after living in Frenchtown, New Jersey for many years. John was a Master Potter who owned Kissimmee River Pottery, a teaching studio and gallery. He extensively traveled to sell his pots at art shows and Renaissance festivals and loved to hunt and fish.

John is survived by his wife of 19 years, Patricia Hamill; son, Aidan Hamill-Fulwood of Lake Wales; and brother, Steve Fulwood and wife Gail of Winter Haven.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his honor to Hope Loves Company (65 S. Main Street, #101, Pennington, New Jersey 08534 609-730-1144) or to the ALS Association ( www.als.org ).
