JOHN P. CROSBY, 50

John P. Crosby of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at his residence.

He was born March 5, 1968 in Myrtle Beach, SC and has been a lifelong resident of Lake Wales. He was a Sr Transmission Oversight Specialist for Duke Energy and member of the Namesake Apostolic Church in Lake Wales. John enjoyed spending time with his family, driving his Jeep, fishing, watching football and Nascar.

Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Debbie Woods Crosby; sons, Samuel “Clay” Crosby of Lake Wales and Eli Crosby of Lake Wales; father, Griffin G. “Junior” Crosby and wife, Vickie of Lake Wales; mother, Darla Musloe and husband, Richard of Lake Wales; grandmother, Margaret Crosby of Lake Wales; and brother, Griffin G. “Nick” Crosby, III of Lake Wales.

Memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Namesake Apostolic Church in Lake Wales with Pastor Stephen Reed officiating.
