John Kobus, Jr.

John Kobus, Jr., born on June 7, 1945, in Ohio, passed away on July 12, 2026. He will be remembered for his steadfast work ethic, devoted interests, and the legacy shaped by his personal and professional accomplishments.

John grew up in Ohio, shaped by the values and guidance of his parents, the late John and Anne Kobus. John dedicated his career to the steel industry as a machine operator. Outside of his profession, he had a wide array of interests that enriched his life and formed lasting connections with others. He was an enthusiastic golfer, enjoyed hunting, and had an appreciation for antique cars and trucks. He attended River Ranch Chapel and was a member of the Lake Wales Moose Lodge.

John is survived by his life companion of 16 years, Eileen Samson along with her family; and niece, Renee Fithien along with her family.
