John Alphonso Cason

Cason, John A. (80) - died quietly at home Monday, Dec 7th, with his wife, Nancy, at his side. He was born and raised outside Savannah Ga., and graduated from GA Military Sch and the Univ of GA where he played football.

For over 30 years, John worked for Wholesale Office Supply and Neveille & Gladstone.

Then he opened Big Johns Country Cookin’, doing something he loved – cooking.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alphanso & Mary Cason and his son John.

He is survived by his wife Nancy and his 4 daughters along with their husbands – Linda & Charlie Gilbertson, Terry & Dick Pildner, Ellen Yount, Kathleen & Scott Kwierant and his granddaughter Michelle Yount.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Oveido (45 West Broadway Street), with family receiving friends at 1:00 PM.
