Joel Tolson

Joel Tolson, born on July 16, 1958, in Lake Wales, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, at AdventHealth Lake Wales.

He was a dedicated mechanic at Lake Wales Tractor Company for many years, known for his skill and commitment to his work. Joel was a member of The Bridge Central Church, where he found community and fellowship. He enjoyed restoring old cars, spending quality time with his family, and helping those in need, embodying a spirit of service and generosity.

He leaves behind his beloved mother, Myrna Bennett of Lake Wales; his twin brother, Noel Tolson; brother, Douglas Tolson, Jr.; sisters, Tracy L. Townson and husband Michael of Murphy, North Carolina, Kelly A. Covey of Lake Wales, and Elaine Dallas of Lakeland; and many nieces and nephews. Joel was preceded in death by his father, Carroll D. Tolson, Sr.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales, starting at 10:00 AM.
