Joel Scott Anderson

Joel S. “Joey” Anderson, 49 of Lakeland, Florida passed away Friday, May 6, 2016 at Orchard Park Rehabilitation Facility in Auburndale.

He was born on January 6, 1967 in Jacksonville, Florida to Janice Sue Anderson and he has been a lifelong resident of this area. Joey enjoyed reading his Bible, watching football, Nascar, Wrestling, was a Gator and Bucs fan. He was a member of The Revolution Church in Lakeland.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Sue Everson.

He is survived by his step father, Richard Everson of Wesley Chapel; brothers, John Sealy (Sherry)of Lakeland, Step brother, Stuart Everson of Lakeland. aunts, Martha Wilson of Williston, Bevelyn Beasley of Lake Wales, Rebecca Jones of Williston; uncles, Buddy Anderson of Jacksonville, Jerry Anderson of Winter Haven, David Clemons of Lake Wales.

Family will receive friends on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 1:00 pm until service time at 2:00 pm at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Rusty Harrington officiating. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery
