JoAnne Elizabeth Tevis of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 in Lake Wales, Florida.

She was born December 12, 1938 in York Center, Ohio to the late Carl Lemoyne & Henrietta Mae (Hedges) Jacobs; she has been coming as a winter resident to Lake Wales, Florida from Marion, Ohio for 15 years. She was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Paul Tevis; four daughters, Mary Elizabeth Robinson of Marion, Ohio, Melissa Ann Werley of Vermilion, Ohio, Debra Eileen Clayton of Wadsworth, Ohio and Pamela Sue Tevis-Fussell of League City, Texas; one son, Paul Eugene Tevis Jr. of Wintersville, Ohio; three sisters, Janet Dunn of Marysville, Ohio, Jean Plotner of Marion, Ohio and Rebecca Rynders of Abilene, Texas; three brothers, Charles Jacobs of Green Camp, Ohio, James Jacobs of Little Hocking, Ohio and Jerry Jacobs of Garrettsville, Ohio; 27 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled at this time. Funeral service and burial will take place in Prospect, Ohio.
