Joanne M. Bogus of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014 at her residence.
She was born July 26, 1942 in Pennsylvania to the late Victor & Evelyn Allen; and she came here from Cleveland, OH 25 years ago. She worked at Kmart and was a member of the Lake Wales Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the Eastern Starr and Rainbow Girls.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Jim Bogus; daughters, Angi Morehead and husband, Chris of Babson Park and Nannette Martin and husband, Vince of Lake Wales; brother, Victor Allen, Jr. of Auburndale; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Dr. John Glamann officiating.
