Joann Whitehurst Phillips

PHILLIPS JoAnne Whitehurst Phillips, age 88, passed away on January 12, 2016.

She was born January 25, 1927 in Lake Wales, FL, the daughter of the late Irene Johnson and J. Slaughter Whitehurst. JoAnne moved to Jacksonville, FL from Mobile, AL in May of 2006. She was a member of Mandarin United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold M. Phillips; daughter, Jeanne Belle Phillips; sister, Martha White and brother, George Whitehurst. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Martha (Dana) Fluegel of Jacksonville and Susan (Steve) Keeling of Fayetteville, NC; six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 10:30 am Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Lake Wales Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Kantz officiating.
