Joan Warren Giberson Sherman, 88

Joan Warren Giberson Sherman, 88, of Lake Wales, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016.
She was born June 17, 1927 in Lake Wales to the late Claude Trafton and Geneva Frances (Warren) Giberson. She worked as a medical transcriptionist and was a member of the Central Avenue Baptist Church in Lake Wales.

She is survived by her children; Edith Horton McDaniel and her husband Bill of Deltona, FL, and Roger Horton Jr. and his wife Jean of Lexington, GA: a sister, Betty Jean Smith of Cottonwood, AR: 7 grandchildren; Roger, Geneva, Ryan, Steve, Eric, Erin and Emily: 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren: and her very close friend Betty C. Horton of Lake Wales.

A memorial service will be held at the Central Avenue Baptist Church in Lake Wales on
Friday, June 17 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cornerstone Hospice.
