She was born September 26, 1928 in Sedalia, Missouri and has been a resident Lake Wales since 2009.

Survivors include her daughter, Tomi Blackburn and 5 sons, Jim Rissler, Russ Thomas, Jack Thomas, Mark Thomas and Joe Thomas, sister, Marjorie Munroe , many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
