Jimmy M. Sistrunk, 85
Jimmy M. Sistrunk of Frostproof passed away Monday, December 20, 2021, at AdventHealth Lake Wales.
He was born November 22, 1936, in Miami to the late Ray and Manda Sistrunk; he moved to Frostproof from Plantation three years ago. Jimmy was a retired game warden for the Florida Wildlife Commission and was a veteran of the United States Air Force who was stationed in Okinawa, Japan following the Koran Conflict. He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed hunting and saltwater fishing.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his daughter, Lory Devlin; sister, Lucienne Morris; and brother, Roy Sistrunk. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jean Sistrunk; daughter, Linda Fatout and husband Thomas of Sunrise, Florida; son-in-law, Grant Devlin of Saint Augustine; grandchildren, Rian Meyerson, Kyle Fatout, Austin Devlin, and Kalie Devlin; and great-grandchildren, Raegan Meyerson, Clayton Meyerson, and Wilds Devlin.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
