Jimmy R. Sheppard of Frostproof passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born November 11, 1943 in Cullman, AL to the late Willie & Verna (Wisener) Sheppard; and came here 35 years ago from Boaz, AL. He was a retired truck driver for Ben Hill Griffin.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Sheppard; daughter, Sherry Sheppard (Philip Sluder) of Sumerville, SC; son, Jimmy Dale Sheppard (Monica) of Iola, TX; sister, Virginia Breedlove of Cullman, AL; and five grandchildren.
