Jimmy Ray Mcghee

Jimmy Ray McGhee, 59 Jimmy Ray McGhee, 59, of Frostproof, passed away Friday June 22 at Florida Hospital Heartland in Sebring. He was born January 2, 1958 in Atmore, Alabama to the Late Leo McGhee and Kathleen (Maulden) McGhee.   He worked as a blender in the citrus industry.   Jimmy was a big Nascar fan with Jeff Gordon being his favorite driver, and loved the Crimson tide. He is preceded in death by two sisters, Candy and Sonia McGhee and his father. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen McGhee of Frostproof; daughters, Ashley Johnson and her husband Franklin of Lake Wales, Brandi Collins of KY and Kimberly McGhee of GA; brother Timothy McGhee and his wife Evon of Dothan, AL; sisters Jennifer Watts and her husband Timmy of Winter Haven, Myrtle Jefferies of Lake Wales and Anita Tuel and her husband Todd of Ladson, SC; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. The family will receive friends Friday, June 30 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Southside Baptist Church in Frostproof with services at 11:00.   Interment will take place following at Silver Hill Cemetery
