Jimmie Lou Pennington

Jimmie Lou Pennington of Frostproof passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Grace Healthcare in Lake Wales.

She was born May 28, 1927 in Waycross, GA to the late Carl and Lula (Powell) Shiver; and came here from Seattle, WA twelve years ago. Jimmie Lou was a homemaker, and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed flower gardening and was an avid reader.

Jimmie Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Pennington. Survivors include her sister, Janie McDuffie of Frostproof; many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held 3:30 PM Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the Family Life Church of Frostproof.
