Jimmie Ray Moon, 62

Jimmie Ray Moon of Lake Wales passed away Friday, May 31, 2024 at AdventHealth Lake Wales.

He was born January 18, 1962 in Avon Park to the late Donald and Hazel Moon; he was a lifelong resident of the area. Jimmie was a supervisor for Diversified Substation Contractor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding bikes. He loved his sister and son.

Jimmie is survived by his wife, Susan Moon; son, Dakota Moon and girlfriend Sage of Millbrook, Alabama; sister, Rachel Wilkins and husband Jimmy of Sebring; nieces, Stephani Nugent and husband Mark, along with their children, Vanessa, Haley, and Aubrey, Amanda Gammon and husband Dale, along with their children, Mason and Aiden, and Courtney Gillian and husband Kyle, along with their children, Austin, Ava, and Gemma; and his dog, Ely.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home.
