Jimmie Allen

Jimmie Donald Allen, 84 Jimmie Allen of Waverly, Florida passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 at his residence. He was born March 20, 1932 in Eagle Lake, Florida to the late Lonnie D. and Eathell (Frasier) Allen. He was a Fleet Superintendent for Florida Power. Jimmie was a member of the Florida Pioneers Club, Florida Power Retirees. He loved his family, children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter Susan Barnes. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Phyllis J. Allen, daughters Debi Marguez and husband Ruben of Lake Wales, FL, Charmaine Parrino of St. Petersburg, FL, Donna Bews and husband John of Homosassa, FL, Denise Booth and husband Gary of Riverdale, GA, son Tony Allen and wife Pam of Largo, FL, sister Shirley Thompson of Brandon, FL, 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, February 9, 2017 until service time at 11:00 AM with Rev. David Koon officiating at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home.
