Jim Palmatier of Frostproof passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.
He was born August 13, 1934 in Poughkeepsie, New York to the late Mr. & Mrs. Albert Palmatier. He was a retired truck dispatcher for Bynam Transport and of the Methodist faith. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Army and loved to
fish.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Elinor Palmatier; two daughters, Karen Palmatier of Frostproof and Carol Palmatier of Frostproof; two sons, James Henry Palmatier, Jr. of Lake Wales and Timothy Palmatier of Coatesville, PA; one sister, Ruth VanVlack of Poughkeepsie, NY; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
