Jim Lee

Jim Lee of Winter Haven passed away Sunday, July 19, 2009 at his residence.

He was born August 24, 1951 in Winter Haven to Robert E. & Evelyn Lee; he was a lifelong resident of the area. He was an aquatic applicator for Southwest Florida Water Management and an active member of the Dundee Baptist Church, serving as a Sunday school teacher and an usher. He was also a veteran of Viet Nam, serving in the U.S. Navy; and a member of the American Legion and the Winter Haven Moose Lodge.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Lee and brother, Robert A. Lee. Survivors include his wife, Valerie Lee; sons, Donnie Larsen of Winter Haven and Lorne Larsen (Heather) of Winter Haven; mother, Evelyn Lee of Winter Haven; sister, Charlotte Metz (Husband-Ron) of Sturgis, MI; and two grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at the Dundee Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Bullington officiating and the family receiving friends at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dundee Baptist Church, Jim Lee Missions Memorial Fund, 1111 South Scenic Highway, Dundee, FL 33838.
