Jim Dorn

Jim Dorn of Lake Wales passed away Monday, October 19, 2009 at the Marriott Hotel in Clearwater.

He was born October 21, 1923 in Lima, OH; he came here in 1960 from Michigan. He retired after 37 years at G.T.E. and served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. He was a member of the Lake Wales Country Club and loved crossword puzzles and working on the computer.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dottie Dorn of Lake Wales.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Keith Thompson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Post Office Box 840692, Dallas, Texas 75284-0692.
