FROSTPROOF--Jewell Marie Cantu, 45, of Frostproof died of heart failure Sunday, August 05, 2007 at Brandywyne Health Care in Winter Haven.

Born March 11, 1962 in Lake Wales; she was a lifelong resident of Frostproof. She was a public school teacher and of the Baptist faith. She was a member of the School Teachers for Hillcrest in Lake Wales and Winter Haven Elementary.

Survivors include her daughters, Stevie Cantu of Winter Haven; Laci Cantu of Winter Haven; son, Tony Cantu of Wauchula; mother, Helen Woody Roberts of Frostproof; brother, Thad McCollough of Dothan, AL; sister, Mary McDougald of Dothan, AL; 2 grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
