Jesse Brock

Jesse Brock of Waverly passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at his residence.

He was born May 2, 1929 in Bainbridge, GA to the late GT & Mary Anna (Dollar) Brock; he came here from Bainbridge in 1952. He was a self employed residential carpenter and a member of the Waverly Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening and farming.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Dorothy A. Brock; daughter, Delores White (Larry) of Waverly; son, Dennis Brock of Winter Haven; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Waverly. Interment will be held at the Brock Cemetery in Bainbridge, GA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Good Shepherd Hospice or the First Baptist Church of Waverly.
