Jerry Walker

Jerry Walker of Frostproof passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at his residence.

He was born September 30, 1946 in Jackson, MS to the late James Doward & Melba Aline (Stevens) Walker; and here came here 48 years ago from Illinois. He loved truck driving and talking on his CB; enjoyed fishing and going down to the river; taking the grandkids on vacation was his highlights; and playing cards with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Linda Walker; two daughters, Lesia White and Lynn Robarts both of Frostproof; five grandchildren, Jennifer Knight, Brandi White, T.J. Robarts, Dustan Robarts and Jay White; and two great-grandchildren, Elija Knight and Jada Knight.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with Rev. Darroll Hood officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Good Shepherd Hospice (105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL 33823).
